Long Huong Industrial Park is located in Tan Hai commune, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Officially approved into the General Planning for Vietnam Industrial Park Development until 2015. On August 21, 2006, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg on approving Long Huong Industrial Park into the General Planning for Vietnam's industrial park development up to 2015, with a vision to 2020 with a total area The planned land area is expected to be 400 hectares.
On October 21, 2009, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province approved the detailed planning of Long Huong Industrial Park at 1/2000 scale with a scale of 400 hectares. Accordingly, the industrial park will be located in Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Long Huong was built as a multi-industry industrial park, using advanced, modern, clean technology, mixing many industries but saying no to polluting industries.
On March 9, 2010, the Management Board of Industrial Parks in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province issued an investment certificate to the investor, Long Huong Joint Stock Company, to deploy investment in infrastructure development of all types. business in industrial zones.
However, after many years of being granted an investment certificate, the company has still not achieved its set goals. Because of this lack of capacity, in 2013, the Management Board of Industrial Parks in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province issued a decision to revoke the Investment Certificate issued to the investor, Long Huong Joint Stock Company.
With the desire to find new investors for Long Huong Industrial Park, on April 15, 2014, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee issued investor selection standards for Long Huong Industrial Park in Decision No. 720/QD- People's Committee. When it was first issued, it received a lot of attention from many domestic investors. However, up to now, this industrial park has not yet found an infrastructure investor.
