On the morning of April 2nd, 2025, in Tieu Can district, Tra Vinh province, Stella Invest Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with BIC Construction Design Joint Stock Company, solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Trà Vinh Fruit Processing Plant - Greenfood Project. The ceremony was attended by representatives of leaders from departments, agencies, strategic partners, businesses, and a large number of farmers.
The project is expected to become a key agricultural processing center of the province, contributing to enhancing the value of fruits from the Mekong Delta region on the international market.
The Trà Vinh Fruit Processing Plant - Greenfood is designed construction on a land area of nearly 5 hectares, with a total investment of over 379 billion VND, divided into two phases. Upon completion, the factory will have a processing capacity of 5,000 tons of fruit per year, focusing on agricultural fruits - especially coconuts, which are the key agricultural products of Trà Vinh province.
The project invests in applying modern processing technology to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products. This is not only a processing plant, but also a link between farmers and cooperatives, forming a closed value chain from raw material areas - processing - distribution - export, contributing to improving income and creating job opportunities for hundreds of local workers.
