Some steel companies have just announced to reduce prices for D10 CB300 rebar and CB240 coils, pulling the domestic price of construction steel to a popular level of 14-15 million VND/ton.
Specifically, according to Steel Online's data, compared with the downward adjustment at the end of April, the price of D10 CB300 rebar of Hoa Phat Steel brand in the North this time was reduced by 100,000 VND/ton, down to 15 29 million VND/ton. As for Hoa Phat's CB240 coil in the North, the price remained unchanged at 14.9 million VND/ton.
In the Central region, Hoa Phat Steel also reduced by 100,000 VND/ton for D10 CB300 rebar, to 15.15 million VND/ton; with CB240 coil line is kept at the price of 14.9 million VND/ton.
Hoa Phat Steel's D10 CB300 rebar product in the South was also reduced by 100,000 VND/ton, to 15.45 million VND/ton. CB240 coil steel products remained at the price of 14.92 million VND/ton.
Similarly, Vietnam Italy Steel in the North decreased by 100,000 VND/ton with the D10 CB300 rebar, down to 15.2 million VND/ton; CB240 coil is kept at the price of 14.62 million VND/ton.
Viet Duc Steel brand in the North also adjusted down 100,000 VND/ton with D10 CB300 rebar, selling price to 15.15 million VND/ton; CB240 coil price is still at 14.64 million VND/ton.
Viet Sing Steel's D10 CB300 rebar product in the North was also adjusted down by 100,000 VND/ton, to the price of 15.12 million VND/ton; CB240 coil products of this brand remained at the price of 14.82 million VND/ton.

Tung Ho Steel brand in the South decreased by 560,000 VND/ton with D10 CB300 rebar to 15.17 million VND/ton; CB240 steel coil is reduced by 510,000 VND/ton, selling price is 14.92 million VND/ton.
Pomina steel in the Central region adjusted down the selling price for CB240 steel and CB300 D10 steel to 300,000 VND/ton and 310,000 VND/ton, respectively, the latter price decreased to 15.5 million VND/ton and 15.56 million VND/ton, respectively. ton.
In the South, Pomina Steel reduced by VND 460,000/ton with both CB240 coil and D10 CB300 rebar. After adjustment, the selling prices of these two steels are respectively at VND 15.91 million/ton and VND 16.22 million/ton.
Thus, from the beginning of the year until now, the domestic construction steel price has recorded 5 consecutive decreases. Particularly in April, domestic steel products experienced 4 consecutive price reductions, with a total decrease of about 1-1.5 million VND/ton.
The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) said that the domestic construction steel price has continuously decreased recently due to the decline in world steel demand. Domestic demand for steel also fell sharply, causing manufacturers to lower their selling prices to speed up inventories.
In the international market, steel prices are on a downward trend. Today's steel price for delivery in October 2023 on the Shanghai Exchange fell 36 yuan, to 3,599 yuan/ton.
