Quang Phu Industrial Park Project was established by the Prime Minister's Decision (QD) and approved the Quang Phu Industrial Park (IZ) project at Decision No. 402/TTg dated April 17, 1999. And then on May 24, 2001 the Minister of Construction approved the detailed planning in Decision No. 885/QD - BXD, the total scale of the approved project is 99.42 (ha).
The Ministry of Construction authorized the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province to approve the detailed expansion plan in Decision No. 130/QD-UBND. On January 20, 2006, the area was expanded by 47.34 (ha) increasing the total area of the whole project of Quang Phu Industrial Park to 146.76 (ha).
