Phu Bai Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 1144/QD-TTg dated December 22, 1998 of the Prime Minister; is the first concentrated industrial park to be exploited early and effectively, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province. The industrial park has been invested with complete technical infrastructure; having many favorable conditions in terms of traffic and labor; already has a wastewater treatment plant, a bonded warehouse and a place for customs clearance to serve the needs of on-site import and export.
Thua Thien Hue province encourages investors in industrial production and processing in the fields of: processing agricultural, forestry and fishery products, machine manufacturing industry, electronics, informatics, yarn, textile... and products manufactures equipment and spare parts for the above industries.

Phu Bai Industrial Park has a total area of more than 800 hectares in Phu Bai ward, Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province, about 15 km from Hue city center; next to Phu Bai international airport; located along the National Highway 1A and the North-South railway; 40 km from Chan May deep-water seaport to the south, 15 km from Thuan An seaport to the north.
Power supply:
The industrial park has 2 110/22KV transformer stations with a total capacity of 50 MVA.
Water supply:
D50 water supply pipeline system serving the industrial zone is provided by Phu Bai water plant with a capacity of 15,000m3/day.
Communications:
The telecommunications system, telephone, television, Internet, etc. is convenient, can communicate directly internationally, the ADSL high-speed Internet line has extensive coverage and uses underground cable.
Drainage system:
The drainage system installed along the internal roads can ensure the collection of rainwater and wastewater from factories in Go Dau industrial zone.
The wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 6,500 m3/day.
