Factories can be a place for large human resources. It contains equipment or machinery or materials to meet the production process; preserving or transporting goods used in those industries.
Therefore, a workshop needs to be designed and built in accordance with the following construction standards:
Design standards
VN construction standards set 1 according to the regulations of the Ministry of Construction - Decision 682 / BXD-CSXD dated December 14, 1996.
VN construction standard episode 2.3 issued by the Ministry of Construction, together with Decision 439 / QD-BXD dated September 25, 1997.
Workshop design standards for each item:
1. About foundation:
- Foundations are built according to TCVN 2737: 1995.
- The foundation area must be pressed and drilled firmly.
- The height of the required foundation is lower than the ground surface.
- Foundations should be laid with expansion joints.
- Materials: concrete, cement tile floor, steel foundation
2. Regarding roofs and roof doors:
- The roof is designed with a slope depending on the material of the roof.
- Workshops with a slope of less than 8% need a concrete thermal slot.
- The roof door is designed in combination with the ventilation, light-gathering system and must not exceed 84m wide.
- Roof doors need to be mounted vertically.
3. Regarding walls and walls:
- There are types: load bearing wall, frame insert wall, self-bearing wall.
- Walls can be made from bricks, stones, asbestos sheets, etc.
- Brick wall types require the use of waterproofing layer.
- Walls between workshops need to be installed easily for assembly to meet the requirements of changing structures, repairing machines.
4. About windows and doors:
- Windows and doors are required to get light and good ventilation.
- Windows must not exceed 2.4m in height from the ground and must be opened and closed.
- For storm and wind protection, the glass windows will be installed higher than 2.4m, with fixed frames.
