Welding is the use of fire or electric arc to heat locally, so that the metal at the contact point melts and mixes, and when cooled, solidifies to form a weld.
This connection is a connection that uses a straight or oblique butt weld to directly connect two members lying in the same plane. Welding of structural steel is used to say steel plates, rarely used to connect shaped steels because it is difficult to process the edges of the members.

The advantage of the butt weld is that it transmits good force, has a simple structure and does not require steel to make auxiliary parts. This welding connection is required to process steel plates.

The welded joint has the advantage of not having to process the edge of the member, but it costs steel to make the joint. The link has a large concentration of stress and is therefore not recommended for dynamic loads. To reduce the stress concentrated at right angles, the edge of the joint is cut off and the 50mm segment is left unwelded.
Joints with joints can be used for slabs or sections. When connecting angle steel, use steel plate as angle steel.
Butt joints have additional joints with fillet welds. Joints are used to strengthen the butt weld when there is not enough bearing capacity. Composite connection using steel plate or jigsaw connection. One or two copies can be used.

The composite connection has a large concentration of stress, on the other hand, it is necessary to plan the butt weld to place the joint, which is labor intensive, so it is rarely used. When the design pre-selects a joint with a width close to the width of the base steel to transmit the force more evenly, arrange a butt weld, and then calculate the force transmitted through the joint.
Two overlapping components use fillet welds to connect them. The overlapping section is taken according to the requirements of the weld arrangement. In the superimposed connection, it is possible to use an angled weld or a butt weld. Because the fillet weld has high welding stress and has a large stress concentration, it is less likely to use both types of welds at the same time, for connection when subjected to large forces. Not recommended for structures subjected to dynamic loads.
The superimposed connection is often used to join small thickness steel plates to connect section steel and small thickness steel plate to connect section and plate steel.
Regarding the calculation method, due to the complicated nature of the fillet weld, the calculation is conventional and tested experimentally. The first angle weld is calculated equally.
