THE EXPANSION OF QUANG CHAU INDUSTRIAL PARK

BAC GIANG: In addition to the expansion plan of Quang Chau industrial park, Viet Yen district, the province has just planned to develop Yen Lu industrial park, Yen Dung district.

Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee has just approved the expansion plan of Quang Chau industrial zone, Viet Yen district. The planning study area is located in Quang Chau commune, Van Trung commune and Neh town. According to this plan, Quang Chau industrial park will be expanded by 90ha compared to the current one.

The new plan is also expected to narrow the eastern boundary of the project in line with the planning of the route connecting National Highway 37, bringing the land lot where the police station is currently built outside the project boundary. At the same time, the plan will expand the boundary to the north, about 70m from the old boundary and expand the southern boundary, bordering a part of Quang Chau urban area and close to the approved roads in the plan.

Quang Chau Industrial Park is one of the largest industrial parks in Bac Giang province, currently with an area of ​​426 hectares, established and put into operation in 2006 with the investor being Saigon Industrial Park Joint Stock Company. Gon - Bac Giang (SBG Company).

Currently, Quang Chau industrial park attracts 47 investment projects, with 40 FDI projects, including Foxconn - Apple's supplier and component manufacturer.

"The adjustment and expansion of Quang Chau industrial park is very necessary in order to promote the province's industrial development goals and attract large investors to produce in the field of high technology content," the document of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee stated.

Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee also approved the planning of construction subdivision of Yen Lu industrial park, in Yen Lu commune, Yen Dung district with an area of ​​377ha. The industrial park has the nature of multi-sector synthesis, mainly high-tech processing and manufacturing industry.

In Two years, a wave of foreign investment, Bac Giang was one of the provinces with fast-growing industrial real estate. As a result, residential real estate in this locality is often among the most volatile provinces and cities. In particular, the edge of industrial zones is typical of increasing heat. According to the Vietnam Real Estate Brokers Association, land prices at the end of the first quarter of 2021 increased by 50-70% compared to the end of 2020.

However, in the face of the government's move to tighten management, along with the recovery from Covid-19, to the second and third quarters, the land near the Bac Giang industrial zone is reducing the heat with investors.
