On October 7, 2014, the Prime Minister agreed to add Da Bac Industrial Park phase 1 to the Development Plan of Vietnam's industrial zones until 2020 with an expected scale of 300 hectares, including the area of Da Bac Industrial Cluster was previously granted an investment certificate with a scale of 75 hectares.
On April 29, 2017, the People's Committee of Ba Ria Vung Tau province approved the 1/2000 scale zoning plan of Da Bac Industrial Park in Decision No. 1059/QD-UBND, according to which the area of Da Bac Industrial Park phase 1 (including 75 hectares of Da Bac Industrial Complex) is 295 hectares. The planned location of the industrial park is in Da Bac commune, Chau Duc district, Ba Ria Vung Tau province, the south of the industrial park is adjacent to Dat Do district, the remaining sides are adjacent to residential areas.

On August 23, 2017, Da Bac Industrial Park was officially established according to Decision No. 23/08/2017 of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province with the investor of the project being Dong A Chau Duc Joint Stock Company. Da Bac Industrial Park is a multi-industry industrial park, focusing on attracting the following industries: Assembly industry, consumer goods production, electricity production, construction materials, mechanical industry, industrial electrical and electronic industries, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, agricultural product processing, logistics and warehousing services. Da Bac Industrial Park has an operating term of 50 years from May 25, 2015.
