Binh Thuan's coastline, stretching 192 km with favorable natural conditions, has long been a key driver of the local economy. However, besides tourism, this region has significant potential to develop industrial parks, creating a balance between these sectors. Industry currently accounts for 33.5% of the province's GDP, according to 2022 data.
Binh Thuan is strategically located as a gateway connecting the South Central Coast with other southern provinces. With increasingly developed transportation infrastructure, including expressways like Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, Binh Thuan has become a major connection point with Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Thiet, as well as airports like Tân Sơn Nhất and the future Long Thành Airport. The Long Thành Airport project is considered a significant step, promising to bring many economic development opportunities and ensure national security.
In terms of labor resources, Binh Thuan has over 670,000 workers, mostly active in the economy. The abundance of this labor force plays a crucial role in attracting investment. The skill and capability of the workforce help reduce training time and improve labor efficiency.
These favorable conditions have laid the foundation for Binh Thuan to attract investment from many large enterprises. There are currently 9 industrial parks covering more than 3,000 hectares, of which 6 have completed infrastructure. With the participation of corporations like Becamex-VSIP, Sonadezi, IPICO, and many other international companies, Binh Thuan continues to attract new investment. To date, there have been 2 new investment projects with a total investment of up to 995 billion VND and 3.6 million USD. This also contributes to attracting more industrial investment, helping Binh Thuan develop strongly, similar to Binh Duong and Đong Nai.
Notably, Phu My port has become the destination for super-heavyweight ships, transporting goods directly to countries in Europe and America without needing to go through international transshipment stations. Cai Mep - Thi Vai port is also planned to become a "super port" in the southern key economic region. Therefore, Binh Thuan has become a "magnet" attracting many investors to set up production plants here.
Binh Thuan's industrial parks possess advantageous locations near the sea, large land areas, and surrounding mountains, ensuring that investors do not need to worry about wear and tear on facilities or depreciation of machinery and equipment. This is a prime location for building factories and developing businesses. Please contact BIC if you need consulting on factory construction investment in Binh Thuan industrial parks
