Accordingly, Chau Duc Industrial Park - Urban Area was approved with an expected scale of 2,200 hectares, of which the industrial park land area is 1,550 hectares, the urban and service area area is 650 hectares, and at the same time assigned to the Ba Ba Provincial People's Committee. On October 16, 2008, Chau Duc Industrial - Urban Park was established under Decision No. 3600/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Ba Ria Vung Tau province. By September 30, 2019, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province approved the planning of Chau Duc Industrial Park - Urban Area in Decision No. 2532/QD-UBND with a total area of 2,287 hectares, of which Industrial land is 1,556.14 hectares, urban and service area is 689 hectares, and the remaining 42 hectares are for other uses.

Chau Duc Industrial Park is designed with the purpose of building a modern industrial and urban service park with high-class amenities such as golf courses, residential areas, commercial centers, hospitals, and schools. creating a healthy community and stable production.
