Duc Hoa III - Hong Dat Industrial Park project with an area of 99.4 hectares was granted an investment certificate for the first time on September 16, 2008, changed for the 4th time on June 22, 2015. On October 15, 2015, Hong Dat Company sent an official dispatch to the People's Committee of Long An province requesting to change the investment target from Duc Hoa III - Hong Dat Industrial Park to Hong Dat Industrial Park, residential and expert housing (trade name Bella Vista project) in Duc Lap Ha commune, Duc Hoa district. On February 18, 2016, Long An Provincial People's Committee submitted a report to the Prime Minister on the proposal to convert Duc Hoa III - Hong Dat Industrial Park into Hong Dat Industrial Park, residential and expert housing.
On October 11, 2016, the Prime Minister issued a document agreeing to adjust the development planning of industrial parks in Long An province until 2020. In particular, there is content agreeing to reduce the area of Duc Hoa III Industrial Park. - Hong Dat from 99.4 hectares to 29.4 hectares. For the reduced area of 70 hectares, Long An province is responsible for planning, determining the scale and purpose of land use, guiding investment procedures, converting land use purposes, and organizing appraisal and approval. Approve or report to the competent authority for approval in accordance with relevant investment, housing and land laws.
On November 25, 2016, Hong Dat Company received approval from the People's Committee of Long An province to invest in a residential area at the reduced area of the industrial park with an area of 70 hectares, total investment capital of nearly 300 billion VND. Then, in mid-2019, the project was adjusted from a residential area to a project to build residential areas, housing for workers and experts.
